It's so ingrained in my mind that it hurts to hear him trying to hit the
same notes on the older stuff. I'd like to hear them on the 2026 tour playing some of the newer stuff when he dropped the range a bit
There were couple of times I cringed, but they can still play. Same as you, I wish I could have heard them live back in the 80s and 90s.

They're there. I watched about the first 45 min. on one. I was rather disappointed. Granted, I liked the stage production and the playing
was there (though the drummer's playing was a bit weak), but I could've done without the cheesy intro video, and Geddy's voice isn't what it
used to be, which is understandable given his age. It's possible too
that the audio was at fault as it was coming from someone's cell phone, though the images was excellent.
Is there a version with a pro-audio setup?
Not that I am aware of but, if I were looking for one, I might check their official YT channel.

Honestly, I grew up in the 70's/80's when they were in their prime.
Never did like them, even then. It's the voice, I guess. He sounds
like an adolescent boy going through puberty when your voice is
changing. The rest of it is fine, but... can't get past that voice.
I've always been amazed at the cult-like following of Rush fans, and I just don't understand the attraction.
Give me Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, Stones, Aerosmith, Jimmy, Doors, etc...
but not this band.

To each his own, but interesting you list Aerosmith here. Tyler's
voice over the years could certainly taken a beating. They've put out good music over the years, but his voice from the late 1980's onward
was nothing like it was when he sang "Dream On."

He had a fractured larynx and damaged vocal cords. they canceled the farewell tour in 2023. they say he can't make a full recovery.
That's OK though, as music is quite a variable thing with people. Some people don't like Pink Floyd. <BOGGLE>
Yeah.. I think some people don't really understand Pink Floyd - I recall seeing some people say they don't like the image that their "The Wall" album projects - but I'm pretty sure that album is satire (and it's one of my favorite albums).

Have you ever heard Pink Floyd played bluegrass style? Not sure if I've posted

The Wall was the big album when I was at the age to just get into
Floyd. I still like it but, once compared to their earlier works, it
has fallen down the list of my Floyd favorites.
If that, or The Final Cut, was the first Floyd album that the dislikers were exposed to, they need to try some other ones. I no longer
remember the first time I listened to "The Wall" all the way through,
but I do remember the impressions that the openings of "Dark Side of
the Moon" and "Wish You Were Here" made on me the first time I listened
to those... with proper headphones, no less. ;) "Meddle," too!
