JavaScript code editor

Hey there. I just wanted to mention... I had asked a little while back about an IDE for JavaScript that was capable of showing a 'code outline' of sorts, with the different objects, methods, and properties. Well, I guess I had used the term 'IDE' incorrectly, as I was just looking for a code editor that would do this, but I did find one that fits the bill pretty well if anybody else is looking for something with a little smarter help than vim. Nothing against vim, I absolutely love it, but in a complex project, I really do like having something with a code outline.ã Anyway, I stumbled across 'visual studio code' (which, despite the name, works on Linux as well as Doze), and it's pretty lovely. It does everything that I was looking for, along with having a miniature outline of the entirety of the source file on the side so that you can navigate within it more easily (another feature that I'm really fond of).ã Just thought I'd mention that in case of anybody looking for something that'll help for those Synchronet mods and other JavaScript projects. I'm not sure if I'd use it for something where a full IDE is required, I haven't yet tried it with any other languages, but it's pretty nifty for Synchronet's JavaScript capabilities.ã Peace!ãã---ã þ Synchronet þ My Brand-New BBSã

I've used Visual Studio Code recently (in Linux too) and it seems fairly nice.ããNightfoxãã---ã þ Synchronet þ Digital Distortion: digitaldistortionbbs.comã

I'm literally using the SSH remote plugin right now, messing with my configuration and in the integrated terminal, on linux to type this message... of course, trying to slowly unpack all my mods.ããServices are runnign but telnet/ssh is blocked and I don't have web configured. I moved the system ssh to another port to make sbbs available on the default port when ready. So much has changed in the last 6-8 years it isn't even funny.ãã---ã þ Synchronet þ Roughneck BBS - roughneckbbs.comã
