Kinda an off the wall question with out much context. But given that what ãwould the degree of difficulty be to implement fossil capabilities into a ãnon-fossil BBS program. Like, say. Spitfire BBS.ãã^ if you had to guess. Again, I know w/ out seeing the SC one would really ãnot know 100%.ããSpitfire was program written in Borland's Turbo Pascal and interfacedãwith assembler code compiled by Borland's Turbo Assembler.ããThanks :)ãã... Spitfire BBS.ããthe fossil "api" isn't incredibly complicated. it somewhat mirrors how theãserial routines would work. i believe the filename is like "fossil.cht.txt"ãor similar for a nice chart. you can probably get away with not implementingãquite a bit of it nowadays .. for example baud changes for a virtual fossilãdriver probably always respond "success" .. and at some point they tacked onãa bunch of screen writing routines you wouldn't need to learn/use.ããthere's a very nice selection of example code in the SWAG archive here:ãhttp://swag.outpostbbs.net/COMM/index.html ãã--- Mystic BBS v1.12 A47 2021/04/08 (Windows/32)ã * Origin: cold fusion - cfbbs.net - grand rapids, miã
