I'm thinking of undertaking a Baja adventure.. I'd like to write aã"Farwest Trivia" clone for Synchronet using Sync's built-inãteleconference.. I just don't know how to go about it.. Can you loadãservices to run for BBS users like this?.. Is there any way to makeãa service intercept a user's typing in the teleconference before sendingãthe input to the chat module so that the service can check for a rightãanswer?.. Also, is there any way to make sure that all the nodes synchãup this way?..ããHas anyone else here ever even played Farwest trivia on any MBBS systemsãand know what I'm talking about?.. :)ã ã--- MultiMail/Win32 v0.42ã þ Synchronet þ Alcoholiday - The kinder, gentler buzz! - alkybbs.comã

You'd probably be better off just writing your own multinode chatãmodule and including the game in it.ãã > Also, is there any way to make sure that all the nodes synchã > up this way?..ããNot sure what you mean here.ãã > Has anyone else here ever even played Farwest trivia on any MBBS systemsã > and know what I'm talking about?.. :)ããI don't remember, but I've seen how MBBS games/modules could be integrated withãtheir chat system. Right now, Synchronet doesn't have anything like that.ãã digital manã---ã þ Synchronet þ Vertrauen þ Home of Synchronet þ [vert/cvs/bbs].synchro.netã
