• nntpserve bug?

From Merlin@VERT/CARSO to All on Sun Jan 5 00:57:00 2003
There appears to be a bug in nntpservice.js but it looks too complex for me toãfind it!ããWhen you post a mesage via nntpservice it marks it as moderated. I believe thatãit should only do this if the conference is set to moderated.ããI have one conference set to moderated but all nntp posts are marked moderated.ãIf I remove the moderated conference from SCFG, then all appears to be ok andãposts are posted properly unmoderated again.ããCan anyone duplicate this problem just to make sure it's not me!ããMerlinã---------------------------------------------------------------------------ã Merlin - Sysop of CarSo BBs - telnet://carso.dyndns.orgã---------------------------------------------------------------------------ãã---ã þ Synchronet þ CarSo BBs þ Beverley, UK þ telnet://carso.dyndns.orgã

I beleive there are some changesãin sbbs to support this.. re-build from cvs... if you aren't running aãversion built from cvs, then get the nntpservice.js from the 3.10jãpackage...ãã-- ã-----------------------------------------------------------------------ã Michael J. Perhaps eventually it will be removed from the codebase (as was dial-upãsupport). But I would expect (and advise) that a lengthy period pass beforeãthat happen. ããOf course DM may tell you his precise plans...ãã---ã þ Synchronet þ Where we BAJA Rob into writing our modules. (finally getting some time to work on my bbs this weekend.)ãmay come up with something, or some things that are new. :)ãã-- ãMichael J.
