SBBSDEFS.INC has a statement which looks like its supposed to modify the maxãlen of the Title: prompt input, but changing this number does not apparently doãanything.ããI would like to limit my title input in an e-mail message, and it isã*impossible* to do it with SETSTR/GETLINE/UNGETSTR as MAIL_SEND takes controlãprompting you for recipient (ok, i can grab that ahead of time) and then Titleã, for which the text input box is around 70 chars or so, which I cannot grabãahead of time..ããit would be nice if you could pass params to MAIL_SEND and MAIL_SEND_NETMAIL,ãinstead of them just taking over as it is now.ãã---ã þ Synchronet þ hax0r's palace - unknown-realm.dynip.com - you've been hax0r'dã

They are there for your use, notãmodification. The Title lengths are hard-coded in SBBS.DLL and determined byãthe type of mesage/sub-board.ã ã > I would like to limit my title input in an e-mail message, and it isã > *impossible* to do it with SETSTR/GETLINE/UNGETSTR as MAIL_SEND takes controã > prompting you for recipient (ok, i can grab that ahead of time) and then Titã > , for which the text input box is around 70 chars or so, which I cannot grabã > ahead of time..ã > ã > it would be nice if you could pass params to MAIL_SEND and MAIL_SEND_NETMAILã > instead of them just taking over as it is now.ã ãPerhaps in the future.ããRobã---ã þ Synchronet þ Vertrauen þ Home of Synchronet þ [vert/cvs/bbs].synchro.netã
