Hello everybody!
I believe I have patch GoldED's date issue with SynchronetBBS. I'm looking for a few good souls to give it a try. I works on my Windows 11/64 Pro system. It displays the correct date and time (UTC time). I have a win32 and x64 version in the ZIP file. Let me know if it works for you. Just drop the version you want into your GoldED directory and run it.

Of more interest to me (and potential value to everyone), would be the source code. Do you have a fork or a PR up on github?

I have nothing on githib. I would want to know that others see that it's correct now and let me know. If not then it's pointless to put anything out.
I do not have those yet. I would like to see if my fix works for
others before I go any further.
The point would be that I (and other programmers) could look at the code and tell if you if it's correct or not. I wouldn't need to run some randomly-generated/provided .exe file. That's the point.

Others running Windows? What about Linux? Will it work there too?
Golded is open source. Most people would like to see a patch or the
actual code, and can most likely (/especially/ DM) let you know if
it's a good "fix" or not.

Nick

Quote from qnu.org :
"But if you release the modified version to the public in some way,
the GPL requires you to make the modified source code available to the program's users, under the GPL."
you CANNOT release modified versions of GOLDED without providing the source code to rebuild said modified version. that's it, the end.
