Does the work for Mac arm mean, that support for 64 bit arm is in the pipeline as well?

I'd love to move my sync to a Pi running 64bit OS, but as of a month or so ago, it still didnt compile. (Spider Monkey and libffi if I recall where the issues.)

I think it's Raspberry Pi OS. I haven't myself played with a 64-bit OS on an rPi yet, but I think that's what Deuce us is running on his rPi4 that's part of our CI/build farm.
