• Compile directories

    Just to confirm something: When I run 'gmake', it creates four ãdirectories:ãã gcc.linux.exe.debugã gcc.linux.lib.debugã gcc.linux.obj.debugã gcc.linux.obj.debug-mtããThe last two are not required on a production system. As I understand, ãthey contain the individual object files (and dependancies) and aren't ãneeded. Is this correct?ããI understand that their removal would force 'make' to recompile everything ãfrom scratch for every minor update.
