Estimados,
Aunque sospech=E1bamos que la compra de Yahoo! por parte de Verizon har=EDa=
peligrar ciertos servicios que parecen tener una rentabilidad dudosa, fina= lmente parece que ha llegado el momento y se anuncia el cierre de Groups[1]= ... Las fechas que se dan son las siguientes:
* El pr=F3ximo lunes 28 de octubre de 2019 la lista de distribuci=F3n y el = sitio web quedar=E1n en modo s=F3lo-lectura. Esto quiere decir que no se po= dr=E1 publicar ning=FAn mensaje ni responder a los existentes.
* El pr=F3ximo s=E1bado 14 de diciembre de 2019 se eliminar=E1 definitivame= nte la lista y todo su contenido -incluyendo el hist=F3rico- de los sistema=
s de Yahoo!
Desde luego que la HispaMSX no es que est=E9 teniendo en los =FAltimos 9 a= =F1os el punto m=E1s =E1lgido de actividad, pero hay un hist=F3rico importa= nte de la d=E9cada del a=F1o 2000 que merece la pena conservar y publicar. = Voy a buscar si existen alternativas o scripts para poder descargar los men= sajes en alg=FAn formato y hacer que sean publicables para que no se pierda=
esa parte de historia del MSX en Espa=F1a. Cualquier colaboraci=F3n o idea=
que teng=E1is ser=E1 bienvenida.
=BFY qu=E9 va a pasar con la lista a partir de ahora? Considero que la mejo=
r alternativa es movernos a Google Groups, donde ya he creado una lista de = distribuci=F3n[2] a la que migrar=E9 las suscripciones que tenemos en la li= sta. Cuando este cambio se produzca, se podr=E1n seguir publicando mensajes=
a trav=E9s de la direcci=F3n
hispamsx@googlegroups.com.
=BFY los archivos? Hace tiempo que los archivos de la lista se migraron a l=
a HispaMSX BBS y son accesibles desde el FTP[3] o bien HTTPS[4]. Ah=ED pod= =E9is encontrar aut=E9nticas glorias como el PALOMAS, el OPERATION HAVOC o =
el comentario microman=EDaco-sacr=EDlego del Penguin Adventure.
Avisar=E9 cuando las suscripciones hayan sido migradas a Google Groups, que=
ser=E1 en todo caso antes del 28 de octubre. Si por alg=FAn motivo alguien=
no est=E1 de acuerdo con las pol=EDticas o t=E9rminos de uso de Google Gro= ups, puede darse de baja inmediatamente al recibir el primer mensaje.
