I have a question, for the CPC would support for the new CTC-AY (aka
PlayCity) be considered? It could increase performance, either just of
audio playing or in general, using the timers, I think?? (See here for

I have also thought for a long time that support for the multiface would be cool. You could make a dsk loader, or even just use the snapshot loader,
then before running the snapshot or disc you save the first 128K of RAM to
hard disk, and install a custom handler for the multiface so that when you press the button on the multiface you get options to save the game or
return back to symbos, starting where you left off. Would this be possible?
In general a hibernate system (save/resume RAM contents from HDD) would be cool.
The other thing I'm keen to see is a terminal emulator... that would be awesome.
I can't wait to try out the new symbos, and have a play with the new sym
studio (I could never find a copy of the old one).

yeah, 2013 was a bumpy year, unfortunately no time for the Z80 at all...
The CPC version of SymbOS 2.1 is more or less finalized, so another Beta doesn't make much sense anymore.
The same is for the PCW (Joyce) version, which is working again fine with
all new features. It is finished as well.
The current work is mostly done for the MSX installer, as this is the onl=
